Hi, I’m Sanja
I create portrait work that holds more than a likeness—it holds presence, memory, and the quiet echo of someone deeply felt. Much of my work is devoted to honoring loved ones, transforming grief and love into something tangible, something that lingers.
My path has never been linear. I studied fashion, and I still work in nursing—two worlds rooted in care, detail, and human connection. Art found me in the in-between, in a moment that asked me to rebuild and reimagine.
What began as a way to survive became a way to express what words cannot.Through layered materials—acrylic, epoxy, diamond dust, glitter, and gold leaf—I create pieces that catch light the way memory does: softly, suddenly, and all at once.
Each work is not just seen, but felt.
